چکیده

For targeting the simultaneous production and storage of renewable hydrogen, aqueous phase reforming (APR) glucose as model saccharide was tested in presence cresol. Assuming that cresol functions hydrogen acceptor, produced is not only prevented from being wasted by side reactions APR, but also carried easily anywhere. Additionally, there a possibility lignin-derived phenolic compounds can be utilized acceptor. In present research work, test reaction catalyzed Pt supported on alumina at temperature ranging 493 K to 553 K. Also, free out for verifying our originality promote hydrogen.

Optimised Hydrogen Production by Aqueous Phase Reforming of Glycerol on Pt/Al2O3

Aqueous phase reforming of glycerol was studied over a series of γ-Al2O3 supported metal nanoparticle catalysts for hydrogen production in a batch reactor. Of the metals studied, Pt/Al2O3 was found to be the most active catalyst under the conditions tested. A further systematic study on the impact of reaction parameters, including stirring speed, pressure, temperature, and substrate/metal molar...

Renewable Hydrogen Produced from Different Renewable Feedstock by Aqueous-Phase Reforming Process

Aqueous phase reforming (APR) of biomass derived feedstock producing hydrogen was reviewed. The APR process was discussed based on different feedstock categories such as sugars, polyols and ethanol. The mechanism of APR was analyzed referring to different structures of feedstock. The reaction pathways of APR were investigated. The usage of catalysts should be judged by feedstock on the requirem...

Hydrogen production by sorption-enhanced steam reforming of glycerol.

Catalytic steam reforming of glycerol for H(2) production has been evaluated experimentally in a continuous flow fixed-bed reactor. The experiments were carried out under atmospheric pressure within a temperature range of 400-700 degrees C. A commercial Ni-based catalyst and a dolomite sorbent were used for the steam reforming reactions and in situ CO(2) removal. The product gases were measured...
